Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost

I’m back, baby!

It has truly been a long time since I have written or posted anything, and for that I’m sad. To be completely truthful life has been a manner of crazy lately.
But today is a new day so I will strive to work harder and write more. Because at the end of the day it truly makes me happy.
Since it’s been a while from my last post, I would like to share 5 random things with you all.

#5 – Loser Cruises are good for the soul.
One of my favourite pastimes over the last few weeks has been getting in the car and just driving with the music turned up. Sometimes a friend would tag along and we would have some serious “Car-e-oke”, but other times I would drive alone and sing along with the music or listen to my thoughts.

#4 – Having two cats is way better than watching cat videos on YouTube.
I know what you’re thinking, there are many of cat videos on YouTube, how can your cats possibly be better than all of the videos? Well, You haven’t met my cats.
They are crazy.
In fact, my one can insists on waking me up at around 7 am every single day. I’m convinced at this point she’s just checking to make sure I will still wake up and feed her, but when I do wake up she cuddles in a purrs and then I feel like she’s actually just wanting to tell me that she loves me.

#3 – Being a “crazy cat lady” is ok.
As you can tell from my previous fun fact, I have a cat. In fact I have two, and they are pretty much my world.
I’m that mother who takes too many pictures of my cats and then shares the pictures with all of my friends. And quite frankly, there is no end in sight for that.
When I first got my cats there were a few people who teased me about being a “crazy cat lady” who would end up alone because of it. I was offended by their words and closed myself off about the whole thing. Now as I look at how these two precious animals have brought joy into my life, it’s not hard for me to tell you that yes, I’m a crazy cat lady.
My mother had me tested.

#2 – I’ve got a dream of singing Disney songs, all of the time.
This isn’t really a new thing, but gosh darn its a relative one. I would also like it to be known that I have impressed my friends of how well versed I am at Disney songs, even to the point that I know all of the newest songs from the recently released live action Beauty and the Beast. And that brings me to…..

#1 – Beauty and the Beast is the best movie ever, and it hits me in the feels every time I see it.
Yes I have seen it multiple time, and yes it is amazing every time. I seem to see something new and cry at all of the parts where the music swells and the lyrics cut straight to your soul.
Alan Menken, Tim Rice, and the late Howard Ashman’s incredible songs will stay with me forevermore and I will sing them with enthusiasm no matter who may be around.
There is much more I would like to say about the movie, but I of course will have a full review and thoughts on the movie in the next couple of weeks. So please keep an eye out for that.

Well that completes my random list from the last couple of months, thank you for reading and I’m excited to share more with you soon.IMG_9323
